Full-color illustrations, fold-out pages, die-cut holes, and a clear, engaging text reveal the fascinating subterranean homes of burrowing creatures, showing how spiders, frogs, moles, and snakes make... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the greatest book for the classroom. I bought 4 more for when we study underground because my original copy was so "well-loved." There is just a little blurb of info about each underground animal and they are divided into group by habitat. The pull-out pages are nicely illustrated. The illustrations even show what many of the burrows may look like underground. I recommend this for primary classrooms, especially if you study animals or the underground.
illustrates the critical inter-connectedness of the species
