Awesome book for tweens - even if you don't play soccer!

I bought this book with the intention of doing a quick screen before giving it to my 12-yr-old daughter - and ended up reading it (rather than screening it!). I highly recommend it to any tween girl whether or not you play soccer. My daughter doesn't play and loved it! The book is more about relationships and life lessons than sports and has a powerful and positive message for young girls. I wish there were more books like it!!
