This book, while parts of it are obsolete because it is based around MS-DOS, is a good advanced C book that gets deep and dirty with what you can do with C. The first chapter is how to write a C interpreter, then it delves into dos TSRs (with undocumented triggers), advanced DOS graphics, multi-threading, and other neat topics like icon programming the hard way (ah, I have a mouse click, where is it? It's under icon 'B'. Go run that routine, come back, and wait for the mouse to click again). At this point it is probably more of a book to give you ideas versus practicality. Unless your are still using Borland C++ 3.1 under DOS.
