Chilling and ominous

A story about an unbreakable sibling bond that leads to the destruction of self, this book sends chills down your spine. Paul goes to remote, freezing Alaska where a ‘serial killer’ had just confessed to killing dozens in search of his brother, realizing he would not stop until he found either him, or his body. When he arrives in the small town, he is greeted with nothing more than stoic coldness, no hospitality. Interactions with the townsfolk shows him this is more than a murder mystery, the devil is in the woods, and it knows Paul has come.
