Bodily Healing and the Atonement, a classic that was out of print for half a century, was discovered and reedited by Kenneth E. Hagin, D.D., and Roy H. Hicks, D.D. This book profoundly influenced both men early in their respective ministries. They are eager to share Dr. T.J. McCrossan's inspired insights into the Greek text with you. For example, from an in-depth study of Isaiah 53 and First Peter 2:24, Dr. McCrossan clearly proves that the original manuscripts leave no room for doubt--Christ died for our sicknesses just as He died for our sins. Rev. Hagin has commented, "I believe it is the will of the Lord that McCrossan's book is again available to lovers of God's Word."
This book is informative and enlightening. It is very good and accurate. Some parts are a little deep in that McCrossan gives the exact gramatical proof of his position based on the particular language involved. For anyone who has doubts or wants proof of the validity that there actually is healing in the atonement, this book will help them very much.

Dr.T. J. McCrossan is an awesome teacher. He explains the Word so clearly. So many people today yearn to be healed physically, mentally and emotionally are are not. The reason is that they are taught, unfortunately from many pulpits, that it is God's will for us to be sick, that He is attempting to teach us something. This book clearly reveals that this type of teaching is in error. I have had the privilege of sitting under the teaching of Kenneth E. Hagin, D.D. one of the gentleman that reedited this book by Dr. McCrossan. Dr. Hagin has stated many times the profound effect that Dr.Crossan's writings had on his own life, and teachings concerning healing. This is an excellent book for the spiritually hungry and those seeking to learn of healing.

I read the original version of this book many years ago in a library. It was one of the most astounding books I have ever read. I have also read the re-edited version put out by Kenneth Hagin and while it provides a useful synopsis, it lacks the punch of the original. Like Rev. Canfield, I am searching for a copy of the original version. I would be grateful if anyone can help me with this.

tremendous insight on 'The Prayer of Faith to heal the sick'

I have been in Christian circle for the last 17 years and have often wondred why some are healed and some are not. Dr. McCrossan leaves on doubt on where he stands on this vital subject. I first learned of this book through the Kenneth Hagin Ministries and have read it on at least on two occassions, the first was for information and the second was as a refresher. Dr. McCrossan gets into the Greek meanings of the scriptures which can be loss in translating the scriptures into English. Greek, being a very specific language, is very exact in it's meanings. Dr. McCrossan shows for example that the word 'bruise'translates into Greek as "molopi".Greek states as clearly as language can express it that Christ's back was one massive bruise, with each bruise indistinguishable from each other. This is the Greek rendering of Isa. 53:5. In the King James Version of the Scriptures this is not easily discernable. The book is understandable but can be slow going at times. I have found that no knowledge that is worthw
