Bobby's daughter, Ellen, is another who wishes she could "let it go," but she can't either, for different reasons.

Years later while walking through the old family home getting it ready to sell, Ellen, now a highly successful real-estate agent, stumbles across two old boxes hidden away and containing clues that indicate her daddy was a more dangerous and troubled man than she ever thought. She passes on what she learns to Red, who reopens an investigation that he never really closed.
Told from alternating points of view, past and present converge, as Ellen and Red - and maybe even Bobby - come to terms with all that went on.
