You can do some exotic things with bobbin lace. This book is not exactly traditional; and the instructions are not the easiest to follow. I think the instructions are more of a definition to how the person in the book made their art. However there are a few supply descriptions, and a fare how to get started chapter. There is a small bibliography, and a source page. This is a good overview of the mechanics and possibilities beyond the Belgian type.
