Loved the book but wished it contained a chapter on bluefin tuna. That is the most common blue water flyfishng in the northeast. An informative and fun read however. Makes me want to go back to Mexico for sails and marlin.

this is a very entertaining, informative read. the author has obviously "been there and done that" and his anecdotes about his own trips and experiences are interesting. the book also has plenty of how-to info, including a small section on big-game saltwater knots. i would recommend this book to anyone planning a bluewater trip.
Full of information and great photos

I checked this book out of our local library and am now buying a copy for my cousin and for me. To my knowledge, no other book of this kind exists. The book is filled with state of the art bluewater techniques with fanstastic photos and stories from around the world. I highly recommend this book.
