This was the 1st of many Morrell books that I have read. This book made me want to read his other works such as Desperate Measures and I am currently reading First Blood. In this book you don't want to miss a thing and you are alwasys thinking. Morrell is great at making the hunter become the hunted. You can feel for Houston. He was told his whole life by his mother about his great war hero father and when he goes to pay his respects to his father people are trying to kill him and succeed in killing his wife. This is a book I would recomend to anyone.

This was the first book I have read from David Morrell and this book is a prime example of why I continue to read his novels. Very original and easy to read-but hard to put down and dissapointing when you do! I loved the charecters, but most of all I loved the ending! It leaves you dazzled and left thinking! David you have done great again! Buy this book! Blake Boyd
Don't read it at supper or you'll go to bed hungry.

One of Morrell's most non-violent books, but still good!

David Morrell once again proves he can beat Clancy any day with the intruiging BLOOD OATH. Unlike his other books, BLOOD OATH dosen't have a ton of voilence. There is an intruiging plot, but the first 50 pages go slowly. There are a lost of twists & turns, but the book previals.
I love this book! They can't get any better

Although this book is a little shorter than his usual writings, I think it is another great representation of how awesome an author David Morrell is. His thrillers have been great through the end and this one is no exception. Peter Houston, looking for his father's grave, finds hidden secrets that are revealed throughout the book. Make sure you read this outstanding book from the great thriller writer we have all grown to love, David Morrell.
