A Comprehensive Source for Information About Bladder Cancer

The person for whom I purchased this book shortly after they were diagnosed with bladder cancer said it was extremely helpful. They would definitely recommend it. One of the reasons they liked the book was that it anticipated the questions they were asking themselves and it alerted them as to what questions they should ask their doctor. There is not a lot of literature around for this form of cancer. Another reason they liked the book was that it explained how they would feel, what the treatment was like, what the treatment options were, and it didn't beat around the bush on what to expect in the years to come. It prepared them for the worst while emphasizing what there was to be optimistic and hopeful about. The book made them aware there are support groups, and also offered suggestions on how to discuss it with familly and friends and the variety of reactions one is likely to encounter.
