Join the March sisters as each one marks her 10th birthday in a four-part celebration of growing up. Inspired by Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Lavishly packaged with a color portrait cover and cloth bookmark. Also contains birthday cake recipes.
I loved this book!!If you've seen the movie little women or read the book, this is a MUST!!. Susan Beth Pfeffer must have read and watched little women this relates to there life so much! My favorite was beths when she didnt want her birthday celebrated. It related to the book because she is shy and hated when they (her sisters) marched in with presents and gave her a kiss. If you have read this or are thinking about reading this and havent read little women or watched the movie you should. I can say that you will absoultly LOVE this book.
Portraits of Little Women - Birthday Wishes
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
This is a wonderful Portraits of Little Women book. It has a tenth birthday story for each girl. Meg's wish is to be alone with her parents, but is that really her birthday wish after all? Jo's wish is to become the perfect proper young lady, for her family. Beth's wish is for everyone to act as if it is any other day, but Amy wishes for Beth to have a party. Amy's wish is to have a party and invite some of her friends from school, but when Father has to have a meeting about the war does Amy still have her party? This is a great addition to any book collection or any person who likes Little Women.
