At home, in the Mouse House, Baby Boo-Boo gets no respect. Just look at her name: Baby Boo-Boo. She's no baby! The word drives her wild in a big, bad way. And here's Mama Mouse calling, always calling after her, "Baby! Where are you, Baby?" It's humiliating. Mice (and other small persons) will understand what Big Bad Boo-Boo does. It's quite naughty.
My 3 year old twin grandsons adore this book. They ask for it all the time, they've memorized the whole thing and read it back to me. I first got it from the library and read to them over Skype with a webcam. They whined, I wish I had that book! I suggested they go to the library too, so they did. But we will both need to buy it with how much they adore it. Now they love Spooky Old Tree as well. That was my son's favorite when he was little. He wanted it read over and over again. Now the grandkids do too. We did not know about Big Bad Bunny back then. The nephews have introduced this new scary book to their uncle. I am an author/illustrator and I liked the illustrations as well as the story. True, that it would have been nice to have a dada, but still definitely a 5 star in our family. Like this book, I hope to find more "scary" books out there, that are also well written and present great life lessons.

Big Bad Bunny is really a little Mouse named Baby Boo-Boo who does not feel so little. To prove how big she really is, Big Bad Bunny runs away from home. When Mama Mouse discovers that she is gone; she races to find Big Bad Bunny. My two year old loved this book. She loved the noise words in the books and the repetition of key lines in the book. She would read along with each page because she knew what was coming up next. The noise words and the repetition allowed the reading experience to be joint as my toddler could follow along and anticipate the next page, which is key for toddlers. I highly recommend this book for toddlers. My little girl is two and she loved this book. It also would make a great gift.
