This is a story about a young girl named Sarah who's longtime infatuation with her neighbor Aiden; AKA, the Duke of Albrick, turns into a deep unrequited love over the years, during and after his absence. They meet again after many years apart due to the war, and the sparks fly. Aiden will fight the attraction with all his might because she can't possibly love him; it's just a silly misguided infatuation, right? Still she pursues a friendship and some comprehension for his inattentiveness and downright cold attitude towards her now. There is much intrigue that follows with Aidens' secrets and enterprise to add to the mix. Eventually you begin to unravel the truth behind Aiden's perfectly structured walls; he's treasured Sarah all along. It seems now that the only problem is telling her before its too late.

Beyond all Measure

It took a while for me to find this book by searching out of print sources. But It was well worth it. This book is a fun read and what I call a giggler. I enjoyed the characters and the situtations that arose in this story. I do hope that the publisher re-releases it again.
