This is a great story of single-handed seamanship, strategic and tactical planning. A story of how to transform plans in real life actions, of sailing the atlantic ocean single-handedly, and the awesome experience of voluntarily staying in Antarctica for the winter. I couldn't stop reading it.
Amazing

Klink's book "Between Two Poles" should be read by all everyone interested in the sea and it's secrets. This great brazilian seaman went to the poles all alone and this remarkable voyage became a beautiful story of the love and respect of a man by the mighty ocean. Amyr Klink and his sailing ship "Paratii" spent 22 months in this journey and came back to Brazil without any problems. In my honest opinion it's one of the things you read and make you reflect about how small and weak we are but how strong and great we can become using our hearts and minds to acchieve our goals.
