Two women, one African-American, one white, have been the best of friends since childhood, having grown up together in the same neighborhood. When they attend a funeral of a mutual friend, they both... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Sandra Kitt did it again with another great book. Alex and Dallas are such great characters and they're so good together. I thought it only natural that they end up together. He's been with her through some of her toughest times and he's truly the bestest friend she's ever had. Dallas helped Alex to realize his worth while Vin continued to deny him the love he always wished to receive. Valerie really pissed me off. I thought she was fake, rude, insecure, and Dallas deserved a better friend than her. All in all, from start to finish, you'll want to read more of this book.
This book is about two friends testing their relationship.

I feel this book was very good because it really has a person wondering about friendships and relationships between friends & lovers, and is it worth the testing.

Sandra Kitt isn't afraid to tackle big issues. BETWEEN FRIENDS is about two friends falling in love with the same man. Insightful characters, a good story, and a wonderful sense of place make this a terrific read. At the end you'll be thinking about jealousy, loyalty, and the bonds of friendship. I loved it! I've read all of Kitt's books and especially recomment THE COLOR OF LOVE and BETWEEN FRIENDS!
THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD, I TOLD A FRIEND SHE BOUGHT IT.

THIS BOOK WAS VERY EXCITING THE CHARACTERS WERE VERY WELL DEVELOPED. THIS BOOK WAS FULL OF FRIENDSHIP, LOVE, HATE, AND JEALOUSY. I LOVE HOW THE BOOK EXPLORED FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN A BLACK AND WHITE FEMALE . AND THE LOVE TRIANGLE BETWEEN THE TWO FRIENDS AND A WHITE MALE. THE ENDING WAS THE BEST BY NOT LEADING US TO BELIEVE IN A FAIRYTALE ENDING WITH SUCH A SERIOUS ISSUE.
Friends come in all sizes, shapes and colors!

The lastest book by Sandra Kitt is about two friends of different ethic backgrounds, from the same neighborhood. The book is entertaining and easy to read. The story line will hold the interest of the reader. It has the right amounts of conflict, plot twist and a good dose of romance for Dallas, Valerie, Alex and Russ. I did not want the story to end; because, love knows no color line. Life would be more enjoyable if we could accept people as human beings, rather than scone each other if we choose to date, mate and marry across racial and ethic lines.I am looking forward to reading Sandra Kitt's next novel. She has not disappointed me yet. I have read seven of her novels and looking forward to reading Homecoming.
