My baby can see! Great first book...

As soon as I realized my son could see better I went in search of a good "picture" book. I bought this book when he was about 4 weeks old and it's perfect for him. The pages are thick and the book is small (7" x 7"). I prop the book up in his crib and he stares at the pictures for a really long time. Each animal fills one page and is either black and white, or red and white. The last page is a checker board of black and white. My son is now 13 weeks old and he still loves to look at the pictures as we tell him what the animals are. I suspect he'll enjoy looking at this book as he gets older; it's very durable so I know it will last a long time.

My Baby's Favorite Book

This is the best book for a baby that I have found. My son has loved this book since he was just a few weeks old and at four months old it still brings an immediate smile to his face as soon as I open it. Every other page is really thick which makes it fun for him to grab. He even tries to turn the pages. The thick pages make it easy to prop up on the floor for tummy time as well! This is a MUST have for any infant!

EXCELLENT from an EDUCATOR

We got this when my daughter was only a month old. At that time she could focus on the pictures. She's 7-months old now and still loves this book. Now she reaches out and tries to grab the images and bangs on the pages as we go through the book. I love how some of the pages are thicker so baby can help with turning. I also appreciate how the images and pages are clean and not muddled up with text. We create our own text as we go through the book. Your description/story can be different every time if you'd like. I would recommend this book and will be buying it as baby gifts in the future.

Great reaction from newborn

Our baby loves this book! Even at 1 month he would study the pictures and react. I just bought 2 more from "Begin Smart" and I am anxious to see if they have the same effect.
