For the kids that like bugs.

Beetle Bop is a nice rhyming book for the young who like bugs. It has a nice cadence and the different types of beetles mentioned did create some questions. For example, is a lady bug really a beetle? Do beetles really spit or bark? The artwork is good and my girl did look at the pictures a few times. The book is rated for 4-8. However, I wonder if a 7-8 year old will want to read this book more then once. Overall it was a fun read.....

Denise Fleming uses great colors and a catchy rhyme to tell children about bugs. I love how the words travel around the pages. This book is big enough to read to a group, too.
