Beethoven was a big dog who had everything he wanted. A nice house to live in. A family to play with. And lots of adventure to get mixed up in. Then he met Missy--a beautiful dog who stole his heart.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
My dog was right beside me, sitting quietly, when all of a sudden my friend's dog, Benny appeared. When I looked by my side, she was gone! After some time, I found her sitting next Benny, just wagging her tail and looking at him. Then, I realized that Princess had fallen in love for the first time. This short story is similar to the realistic fiction novel, Beethoven's 2nd by Robert Tine. This book is all about a big, sloppy Saint Bernard named Beethoven and his loving family, the Newtons. They all have good times together, all six of them, but Beethoven is the one who gets mixed up in all the adventures! One day, Beethoven was all alone at home, so he decided to go out for a walk in the park. Then he spotted a beautiful Saint Bernard called Missy. He took one look at her and knew that she was the girl of his dreams! Before you know it, they had puppies, but there was a problem! A woman named Regina kidnapped Missy and wanted to steal money from her owner! On top of that, Regina was going to abandon the puppies! Can Beethoven rescue his true love and his children in time? This book is a very interesting book! If you enjoy books that have a dog as its main character with thrilling adventures, then you will like this book! I recommend this book from grades 5 to 7. I think if you read Beethoven's 2nd, you will like it as much as I did!
