I've read 3 of Keith Taylor's Bard books, and I felt this one was the best. It deals with Felimid's meeting the Norse pirate Gudrun Blackhair, and their travels. Part of it seemed to be short stories that had been novelized, but it still reads well. Plenty of adventure, humour, and a strong female character make this a very enjoyable book.
