Hard to please daughter happy

I bought this for my thirteen year old daughter who is very picky about what she reads/watches. She is just getting into the manga scene, and she loved this (and other Serenity books) that I bought her for Christmas. While definitely an up-to-date media, the content is realistically christian, and shows a "real girl" finding her way to God. If you want your child reading something that you don't really have to worry about the content, but that depicts real, albeit "cool" kids, this seems to fit the bill.
