In this book we will learn, and understand the life of our main character Austin, through his eyes. He provides us with information about himself, while describing characteristics reflective of his Autism. This book is a great catalyst for conversations with children, students, and families in homes and in schools to create discussions. It allows the opportunity to be introduced and discuss how some individuals, young and old have delays and disorders. In a child friendly way they will be able to learn, and gain exposure relative to children they may see at school, in the park, or at the grocery store. It is important to make children of all ages aware that there are children and adults, who are not all the same, and that it is okay. My hope is that this will allow them to be exposed, aware, but even more so they can accept and understand those with differences and disabilities around them.
