Always in Danger

Sheriff Cassidy just can't seem to escape from danger! During a girl's night on the town with her friends, Cassidy and the other ladies are in the wrong place at the wrong time. In order to protect her friends, Cassidy allows herself to be taken hostage, but subsequently escapes. As Ty, Cassidy, and Mac try to catch the robbers loose on Lantern Beach, they get some help from a character from another of Barritt's series, which was a delightful surprise. Entwined with this mystery is a request from a Gilead's Cove occupant to find his sister, who he believes needs help. Cassidy has her hands full wit the two cases, plus the growing cult on the island, which is buying up more land. Great series, great characters, great mysteries. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair review.
