This book presents basic factors that are important in reaching a prospered destiny. It looks at the condition of our inward self. It is literally a view from the soul. It uses the image of eagles; thus, figuratively illustrating the title, "As My Soul Soars." The eagle images are shown in the different poses, modes, and expressions of their natural and circumstantial environment. Along with the eagles are writings, and poetic expressions, all meant to bring the reader to greater ethereal access. These interpretive presentations relate to the working of life's intrinsic nature, and the process of spiritual reinforcement.

Mary C. Wells was born in the 1950's and grew up in rural north Louisiana. She accepted Christ at the age of 10 and joined Washington Chapel United Methodist Church. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree (1975), and later earned a master's degree in Public Administration, (2008), from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After her undergrad studies, she moved to Detroit and later married Charles E. Wells, a fellow alum. The Wells' moved back to Louisiana and reside in Baker. They have four children, and three grandchildren. Both Charles and Mary are ordained ministers of the gospel and have worked in nursing home ministry since 1996. Together the Wells started the Revelation of Truth Bible Study Ministry. They conduct a Bible study ministry since 2012. Their religious and benevolent service at Shekinah Glory Homeless shelter started in 2013.

Minister Mary Wells has been involved in broadcast ministry since 2001. After joining the staff of a local radio station, she started the Mother's Bench radio broadcast ministry.
