A handy little book with some good recipes

This is one of several of Joanna's books from Nitty Gritty Cookbooks. It is not big - it doesn't compare to Martha Stewarts's books of the same type, but it is handy. Most of the recipes are pretty common and basic. Nothing too fancy. I tried several recipes from this book and me and my guests found them very tasty. The recipes were not overly complex and usually did not require exotic/expensive ingredients. The limited number of recipes can be a plus - it is easier to make a decision!
