Not her best

Ms Brockway has written some of my all time favorite books, ones I reread and reread! This is not one of them. The motivations of the central characters, especially h, were not clear or just not motivational! And the biggest sin - NO humor. Just did not grip me. I guess this is a fairly early work.

A must read for the truly romantic at heart.

I've read thousands of romances. This is the best.
