Mary Holland's Animal Skins book is part of her photographic Animal Anatomy and Adaptations series. Animal Skins looks at a variety of animals and their skin coverings and how those coverings help them survive. The photography in the hard-cover book is beautiful, with close-ups so readers can see great detail of the animals. The wording is simple to understand and written for the kindergarten to grade 3 child. I'm excited to share the book with my grandkids who I know will love reading it over and over. I look forward to reading more books in this Anatomy and Adaptation series. What great books for a child's library.
I won the book in a contest and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.
