Aesop's Fables Told in Verse

My preschool age children enjoy this book! It is a great introduction to Aesop's classic tales. While the rhyming can sometimes seem forced, the verses give the stories a lot of energy. I am not drawn to the illustrations, although they are bold and memorable.
