Ancient British Isles

No idea why the other reviewer gave this only 3 stars. True that some of the information is dated, but it's important to know what history was considered worth "knowing" and publishing in the early 20th century. Mackenzie recreates the lives of the forgotten tribal cultures of ancient Britain - the role of Druidism, the megalithic monuments and the shell dieties - all described in detail. Filled with B & W photos and drawings.
