It is, in a way, a difficult book to read because reading scripts tends to put you into trance. I am relatively new to hypnosis. I have read a few books and have managed to advance my understanding of the practice with each. In my opinion, this book took me from beginner to intermediate. Some of the claims seem outrageous, but, I think that is part of his point anyway. I feel like I have taken a giant step forward after reading this one.

As a registered Hypnotherapist, I have read many books on hypnosis and this is one of the best. It covers the detailed workings of the induction techniques, deepening processes and similar items. It does an excellent job of explaining how to tell when the person is responding and how deep they are going. The emphasis is on medical hypnosis but it can easily be applied to any situations. This book contains the distilled wisdom and experience of a master practitioner. He clearly explains his approach and his theory of hypnosis. He offers many well written and powerful scripts. There is a great deal to learn from this book for anyone who sees clients and wants to bring about positive changes in their lives.

An excellent and informative read, as a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist I found the content educational and interesting. I thought I knew all there was to know about my career. Obviously not. I will definetly be refering to this book throughout my career.
