We only ever know other people through the lenses of our own perceptions. These perceptions are shaped by our every experience and belief, and they are as unique as our fingerprints. Our perceptions may shift as we grow older and obtain wisdom and experience but they remain ours alone. No other person will ever be able to see the world exactly as we see it, through our lens. Because of our unique perspective, we will never completely know other people. This is even true for the people we love best in the world. This is perhaps especially true for the people we love best in the world. Not only do we see the things we want to sometimes, we see the things we are able to see. We are all amazingly complex. And no one knows her completely.
