Read Alligator Shoes

We think 6 and 7 year olds will enjoy reading this book. It is easy and fun to read. If you like shoes, this is the book for you!

Alligator Shoes...Fun, Short Book!!!

We really liked this book because the illustrations of the alligator were very funny. The text was short and simple to read. The ending was funny and surprising. We did not expect the book to end that way!(Written in collaboration with a first grade class.)

Alligator Shoes

Miss Chamberlain's summer enrichment class thought "Alligator Shoes" was a very funny book. We especially like when the alligator gets locked in the shoe store and tries on all the shoes. We laughed outloud at all the funny shoes he tried on becasue alligators don't really wear shoes. Check this book out for a funny time.

I like this book. Alvin is an alligator and alligators are my favorite. The best parts are when he gets locked in the store, tries on the shoes, and makes the lady faint. It was really funny when he tried on the basketball shoes. You should read this book.

You can't help falling for this big green alligator!

This is a gem of a book,Alvin the alligator is a character you can't help liking, a lot. The illustrations are absolutely hysterical, as Alvin's wild imagination takes the reader to all these wacky situations. Who can't love a big green alligator acting like fred Astaire while he wears dancing shoes, and then later in plain shoes he is seen on the street wearing his casual clothes- including a knit shirt with a human for a logo! I am totally sold on this book and recommend it to anyone with kids of any age (You can always read it yourself!) I am buying a few extra copies to give to friends.
