Gorgeous, Dear, Jam-Packed!

In my opinion there is nothing and no-one out there today like this woman and her designs. Beautiful, beautiful artwork. The book is jam-packed with designs.

Lovely designs

I have been a fan of Faye Whittaker's DMC designs for years. However, as I live in the United States, the price of obtaining her patterns has been exorbitant - I was blessed to travel to England several times and bought a few kits each time I went. This book encompasses so many of the older type designs (the newer ones are brighter in color and, to my eye, not quite as pleasing.) Note - while the book does contain a close up of a carousel (unfortunately in the brighter tones), it is not the famous carousel scene Faye Whittaker fans know and love. I believe that pattern is available only as a kit and only from stores in Europe for the most part. Though it would have been wonderful to have had the carousel, it is understandable that it was not included as it is an actively sold kit. Even without it, the book is a must have for anyone who has ever thought of buying a AOY (All Our Yesterdays) chart or kit.

I was looking for this type of book with the crosstitch designs I wanted and was very happy to have found it. Clear large patterns.
