Beautiful Journey Through the Seasons

With its adorable illustrations and fun rhyming text, "All Around the Seasons" is a wonderful read aloud. I have two young children, and they both really enjoy this book. The images are very child-friendly, i.e. children playing on the sidewalk, cannon balling into a swimming pool, roasting marshmallows, etc. There's also a brown dog that appears throughout the book, and my daughter loves looking for him as we turn the pages. I personally love the simple, poetic text that perfectly captures a child's experience: "Long picnic lunches, climbing up trees, unfolding flowers, fresh grass-stained knees." Overall, a delightful picture book!
