Intriguing!

This is one of several books that I read as a child and remembered for years after. I am glad to have found it again. The plot is unusual, with several startling twists and revelations. Even though it was written for young adults, this book is well worth reading, no matter your age! I don't want to give anything away, but essentially, a young woman has been raised by an alien on a deserted Earth. Her guardian cannot answer her many questions and so she lives frustrated and lonely. But then she discovers they are not alone, after all...
