Good book

If you are looking for this book, then you already know what you are looking for. I just started reading the book...I am not finding it to be very interactive yet....maybe I will as I use it more.

I'm totally satisfied with this book. The price is right.

This book should be a "must" for every graduate student in engineering, mathematics, and applied science. It is well-written and is very comprehensive. In fact, one just needs to read this book and teach other people. As long as you actually spend your time reading this book, you don't even need to come to class and you still score well on your exams. I myself have learned a great deal from this book.

Best undergraduate math book I have ever used

I am a Ph.D. in Geophysics at MIT and I keep coming back to this book again and again. It is clearly written, has useful problem sets, and many clear examples. It covers a great range of topics and should be on the shelf of every engineer or scientist.

The most important technical book that I own!!!

This book is, without a doubt, the most important non-sports book that I own - other than the Bible!!! It is amazing how many times I keep coming back to this book as a Ph.D. student. It covers a broad range of topics in a nice clear manner. OUTSTANDING BOOK!!!
