Adrian Course and Melonie Missiletow meet in purgatory. This is a place in which each individual's afterlife is created solely by their own personality. Both having been isolated in a dense forest, bonding is immediate and survives until their failings drive them apart. Depressed and alone, Adrian must confront his fate. I wrote Adrian's Peace in the style of a 1960s Acid Memoir which allowed me to congeal events, dreams and outright hallucinations as uncompromised elements in a single story line. Purgatorial as a read, it's parallel is the recovery and regression among the emotionally disturbed. Finally of course, the novel is just a trip on LSD. Adrian's Peace is likely not for everyone, but Perhaps, I'll see you there. Jim
