A wonderful book for kids to explore the seasons

My 7-year old delighted in being able to sit with his 4-year old brother and read to him the poems and discuss the illustrations. Living in Southern California does not always afford us the opportunities to see Fall leaves and Winter snow, but Winnick's book lovingly reveals those seasons' pleasures. And the brevity of the poems make the book ideal for intermediate readers.
