A Man of Power, Patience and Passion Power When Griffydd DeLanyea departed his ship in Dunloch, he thought his stay would last no more than a fortnight. Unbeknownst to Griffydd, Diarmad MacMurdock, the man he had come to see, was not merely interested in a trade alliance. Patience Griffydd always believed that good things came to those who waited, but the Welshman had never wanted anything as badly as he wanted Diarmad's daughter Seona. Passion Whether in battle or in love, Griffydd preferred to guard his feelings carefully. But the day would come when Seona would be his wife.
I don't usually read romance novels. I picked this book up in a thrift shop because the time period in the story and the cover captured my interest. Today I decided that I would read a few pages then probably lose interest. Well, I was very wrong!!! I read the whole book (296 pages) in one day -- I couldn't wait to see what would happen next! The characters were well developed and I came to care what happened to them. The story was more of a love story with a mix of intrigue, danger, suspense. This read like a good novel. This book has earned keeper status on my shelf, not many books do.
This book was well-written, and the content was excellent.

The way that this book was fitted together was really excellent, although it was a bit monotonous concerning the ignorance of the people involved. I liked this book because it was a real page turner, and you never knew what was going to happen next.
