Well! What a wonderful surprise!

Lately, I have been enjoying Space/Military thrillers, especially with a female protagonist. So it was with some trepidation that I purchased this book. But I cannot put it down! It has all the following great elements: a military thriller, a space opera, a heroine who overcomes obstacles. But it adds an interesting and original flavor to the story that is thoroughly engaging. I intend to finish the series and explore more of Jean Johnson's work!1
