Excellent Middle School Book

Even though the story of the book takes place 15 years ago, it still has relevance today. The small(ish) town I live in in western Ohio has struggled with meth and now heroin addictions. I teach 7th grade ELA and my students can really relate to the events. Well written. I especially like the fact that we don't actually see anyone using drugs, just the effects.
