Much for us all to ponder

As a middle-aged woman I have experienced various relationships with men in my personal life, career, and with my father. This book has helped me understand some of my actions with these men; why I have acted like I did throughout my life. The book helped me understand the views men have of women, and women of men. Most importantly, it showed me unhealthy ways men and women deal with each other, and why. It explains how to progress into a path of understanding and healthy interaction and respect. Some of this may be in contradiction to what Dr. Laura preaches and I would like to get her take on this book as it relates to her teachings on the 'proper care and feeding of a husband'.

Why gender equity is needed.

Parity is a priority. Or it must be soon. These authors show why a new appreciation for gender equity is needed. Why the polarity of either dominance or subordinance among males/females doesn't work. At the office. At home. On the town. Throughout one's life. This is a revised and expanded edition of a pioneering book first launched about ten years ago which sought to nurture dialogue between men and women toward a more harmonious context in which to live and work.
