A Love That Heals: Letting God's Love Give You Hope in Times of Grief

Written from the heart of Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Angie Winans after the devastating loss of her brother Ronald, A Love that Heals is a deeply personal journey through grief, offering inspiration and help for anyone dealing with their own loss.

Everyone handles grief differently, and here, in A Love that Heals, Angie Winans outlines common principles that will help any grieving heart understand that the love of God provides true resolution.

Love is a simple but powerful word. The same love that causes so much pain in loss is also the same love that can heal, so long as you let it. Angie's account of her personal journey provides a relatable voice for anyone struggling through the difficult aftermath of death. Angie uncovers the many facets of love, including celebration, hope, and healing power. Even for those who feel like their heart will never beat again, Angie's message provides comfort and hope.

A Love that Heals also includes journaling pages so you can "talk through" your loss, as well as comforting words that show how God's love can lead you to a place of strength once again.

COMFORTING

I thorougly enjoyed Angie Winan's book, "A Love That Heals" primarily because she shares her thoughts in the form of a letter to her brother who has passed away. The book has the feel of a friend sharing her inmost thoughts to the reader of how she is coping with the absence of her loved one. I also appreciate the scriptures that are included with each letter entry so that the reader can refer to that scripture to find comfort for themselves. A must read if one is experiencing the loss of a loved one, or has a friend who has experienced that loss and want to be a source of encouragement to them.
