A Foreign Affair was an exceptional romance. I truly enjoyed the secondary characters, as well as the leads. The romance was beautiful and the male lead made my heart melt. I enjoy romance novels - but this one really had my heart pounding. Thanks to the author. I'm looking forward to the next book!
A True Love Story

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "A Foreign Affair". In fact I enjoyed the book so much I read it several times. I loved Keino Mazrui, the hero. He was everything a hero should be, handsome, strong, arrogant, self assured, gentle and considerate. Amara Terrell was a wonderful heroine, beautiful, graceful, independent, and generous. It was the first time I'd ever read a love story between an African man and an African American woman. The story rang true to me, especially the cultural issues surrounding Keino, his family and the proposed marriage to another. I liked the closeness of the Terrell family members and the Mazrui family members. I can't say enough about this book.

This is a wonderful book I read this book in a day once you start reading you will not want to put it down. I love the attraction between Keino & Amara. I also love the way the family supported both their children and also show the love the parents have for each other. I like the fact the during the wedding preparation it combine both culture. I can't wait for the other books. Hope they are coming soon. Louise - Atlanta

I could not put this book down! I read it over a weekend. I was so absorbed in it! It was so sweet and make me feel so proud to be an African-American woman. Each character is rich in detail. I look forward to the next novel. Safaa, job well done!
Can't wait for the next one.

If this is Ms. Safaa's first novel I look forward to her next. In this novel I see future novels. I look forward to reading about all of the Terrell sisters. I really like the way the book showed cultural differences and explained the reason for them. The five day wedding ceremony was detailed. Also maybe a novel for Bradford and Veronica, Makena, Ali and also for Robert King because he deserves a novel also.
