This book is a classic -- loaded with helpful information. There are 2 Pink Panther books -- this one, "The First Book for..." is a condensed version. The full version is "Understanding Diabetes." Both are awesome.

We use this in a hospital setting to educate children and parents. We have been using this for over 3 years. It is very easy to understand all aspects of diabetes in children. Would recommend to any family wanting to educate themselves or others around children with diabetes.
