The following collection of short stories were experienced by my father during WWII and encompass his training, flying fighters in his first tour of the PTO, and transports in his second tour, and life on Pacific islands during that time. These are personal experiences and not historical in nature. They place you in those experiences as they happen as told by a wonderful story teller, my father.
