Investigative reporter Dana Sloan has gone undercover at an upscale retirement home to look into the suspicious death of Leona Rosetti, a retired reporter. Working as the evening receptionist at Peaceful Pines, Dana has an opportunity to question the staff and the senior citizens who live there. A enjoyable book to read A Deadly Hand

This book was given to me as a gift becasue the author and I have the same last name. I found it to be a very entertaining and enjoyable. I would recomend this book as one good read!!!

If you have read the Dana Sloan mysteries by Carol Costa before, you know how clever both ladies are. If this is your introduction to them, you're in for a treat. Carol guides her investigative reporter character, Dana, through the labyrinth of clues, real and unrewarding, until she, Dana, with the help of Bruno, her cop S.O., brings the mystery to a successful conclusion. Once again Carol Costa creates a page-turner of the most comfortable hot chocolate-and-curl up in your reading robe and favorite easy chair sort.
