Worship: a subject that touches the very heart of God. In Worship 365, award-winning songwriter and conference leader David M. Edwards defines worship as what must become an irremovable part of our everyday lives; not only something we do at church a few times each week.Indeed, worshipping God is our highest priority, and Edwards takes us step-by-step through the worship process, highlighting what it is, how it happens, what it does, and where it takes us. "Written for everyone, Worship 365 is sure to enhance the readers understanding and experience of God's presence on a daily basis."
I have a seminary degree and have pastored for twenty years and can say that this is one of the top 10 books I have ever read. Edwards supports with Scripture the mandate for believers to praise God and he reminds us that God "inhabits the praise of his children" Psalm 22:3. He suggests that the attitude of praise is our choice and that we can choose to wear praise just as we choose what to wear each day from our closet. I have found excerpts from this book particularly helpful in ministering to those experiencing times of crisis (hospitalization, grief, trials, etc.) as we are reminded to praise God in all circumstances (and praising Him lifts our spirit!). The book is excellent in its theology and it is very practical for ministry and in developing one's approach to worship.

Instead of rehashing the cosmetics of a worship service, David Edwards drives straight into the core questions many of us have been asking about worship for years, albeit privately and a bit furtively. Worship 365 is not an academic treatise or a pragmatic "how to wow your church visitors" tome, but a tender guidebook, leading us right into the nucleus of worship itself--an extravagant, no-holds-barred love relationship with the living God. --Sally Morgenthaler, author, Worship Evangelism; President, Digital Glass Productions
